Enseignant depuis 32 ans puis directeur (à partir de 2001) de l’école de Hajrat Nhal (et de ses annexes) dans la région de Tanger.Avec les moyens du bord, ce Tangerois de 60 ans a réussi à édifier un modèle inédit d’éducation où le programme scolaire de l’Éducation nationale est adapté à son environnement, avec une pédagogie innovante et avec une ouverture à l’international grâce a plusieurs partenariats. En 2012, l’école de M.Mrabet Salmi a reçu le label Eco-Ecole et intègre un réseau de l’UNESCO en appliquant un programme de coopération internationale qui aspire à une éducation de qualité pour tous.
